Plᴇasᴇ, son, take me home for Holy Easter, I’ll sit in the corner, I won’t bother anybody, I can’t go on…

Take me home on Holy Easter, please; I’ll sit in a corner and be with you for a few days; I won’t cause any trouble; and I’ll be treated better in my own home; I can’t take it any longer.

“Dad, you are like a child. They look after you here, give you food and medicine, but all you say is, ‘I want a house, I want a house.’. ».

I’ll feel better at home because it’s been a year since I’ve been there.

The son responded, “There are still a few days until the holidays; I’ll take you, I’ll take you without a doubt.”.

I’m so proud of you, my son. Some children don’t behave the way you do. When I get home, we’ll go to your mother’s grave and I’ll bring flowers. She would have loved them.

The son looked at his father for a moment and then said goodbye. From then on, the father started to count the hours, telling the other patients that he would be going home soon.

Returning home, the son sat on the couch with a thoughtful face. He did not dare to tell his wife about it. He looked at his wife and said.

“I’ll take my dad home for the holidays,” and he looked at his wife with a pleading look.

Suddenly speaking, the woman made a tense gesture.

You have probably forgotten that your father has tuberculosis and can spread the disease to us. Additionally, we’ll be hosting a lot of visitors over the holiday.

But the doctor said he was no longer a threat to people.

Do you trust the doctors, who claim to have no understanding?

Then they stopped talking.

On Holy Easter morning, everyone went to church before returning home. There were many visitors, and they all gathered around the opulent table to eat, toast their parents, and raise their offspring.

After the guests had left, they began to tidy the apartment and go to bed. However, the son couldn’t sleep, even though he was very tired. Something was bothering him, so in the morning he decided to visit his father in the hospital. It was strangely quiet in the hospital, and there were hardly any people in the hallways.

The nurse said that many patients had gone home to celebrate Easter with their families. The son thought about how he was going to apologize to his father and then he saw his father’s empty bed. He quickly left and went to the doctor’s office. The doctor said in a low voice that his father had passed away.

Our efforts didn’t help our friend. He d!ed from a heart attack.
