In 1977, a nurse saved a badly burned baby. 38 years later, she spots an old photo of herself on the social media and is stunned.

At the age of 3 months old, Amanda Scarpinati fell off the sofa onto a steam vaporizer, causing serious burns to her skin. When she grew up, she had to go through multiple reconstructive surgeries.

She was taken to Albany Medical Center, where she was cared by a kind nurse named Sue Berger. Berger held the bandaged baby in her arms, comforting her during the painful time. This happened in 1977.

Scarpinati left the hospital, and all she had were photos of herself in Nurse Berger’s arms. She was determined to find the caring nurse and thank her for her kindness.

When she grew up, Scarpinati was bull_ied because of her burns, which made the nurse’s compassion even more meaningful to her. She shared a post about it on Facebook, and soon the nurse was found.

In the clip we share below, Scarpinati and Berger reunite at the hospital where they first met. It’s a heartwarming moment when they share their feelings with each other. Don’t miss watching it!
