Woman donates kidney to her boyfriend who then cheats and dumps her
To say donating an organ is a big deal would be a huge understatement and one woman selflessly gave one of her kidney’s to her then-boyfriend – only to be dumped by him ten months later.
Six years ago, Colleen Le (@colleeeniie on TikTok) went under the knife for her boyfriend.
Back when they first got together, she explained how he’d been quite open about his struggles with chronic kidney disease since he was 17, meaning he had to be on dialysis as his kidneys only functioned at 5% of their normal capacity.
Obviously shocked at this worrying news, the TikToker decided to get tested to see if her kidney would be a match for him because as Colleen explained her clip: “I didn’t want him to d.i.e.”
The couple then received the phone call that would “change their lives forever,” which informed them that they were a match.
Colleen then fasts forward the story to the day of the big surgery where she says she was “nervous” and understandably.
This is the part where they live happily ever after, right? Wrong. In another video, Colleen revealed how he later said he was taking a trip to Las Vegas for a bachelor party with some friends from his church
At this point, she was deep into studying for her finals, and as well as trusting her boyfriend, she acted like anyone else would and wished him a good time.
But things took an almighty turn when her ex randomly came back from his trip and revealed that he ch.e.a.t.e.d on her during the trip.
“A lot of arguments later, I eventually forgave him and gave him a second chance,” Collen wrote as she decided to give the relationship another shot.
In the video she recreates that night and shares how her ex apparently knocked on her door and admitted to cheating and then begged her to take him back.

Now this is the part where they live happily ever after, right? Wrong again. Three months later, he broke up with her over the phone, saying, ‘If we are meant for each other, God will bring us back together in the end.’
He blocked her on all social media, but not before telling her, ‘You only donated your kidney to look good.’
Since sharing her story, the TikToker has received millions of views on several videos, with the highest amassing 8m, while thousands have flocked to the comments to express their shock and also ways to get revenge on her ex.
Many of her followers commended the student for saving her ex boyfriend’s life and said he did not deserve her.
Others criticised her for still telling her story years after the devastating events unravelled.
Despite this traumatic period in her life, Colleen insists that she has moved on and is happy, she wrote: “Don’t worry, it’s been over 5 years since I found out he cheated & I have moved on & living my best life.”
