The worst encounters I’ve ever had

I experienced one of the most agonizing experiences of my life last night. In the grocery where I was, the cheese counter was right next to the candy counter. I was staring at some cheese. I heard this conversation:

“- Please be certain that I will treat you kindly. Please!- Simply put, we lack funds. We won’t have enough money for bread if I buy these candies for you.

I immediately turned my head.
a plain mother with a blonde child with large blue eyes who was tidy but ill-dressed.

“- Please, you said Santa will visit us this year and bring us sweets.

I held the cheese in my hand while remaining still.

The young child was carrying a bag of sweets. I couldn’t believe the rumors I had heard were real as I was staring at her.

The young girl put the candy bag on the shelf before being dragged outside by her mother.

I dashed back to the candy counter. The little girl was clutching a bag of chocolates that cost $2. The meat stall was unavoidably in my path as I made my approach to the pay register after stuffing the basket with goodies. The mother and her little child were gazing at the window that displayed the merchandise.

There are eight pieces of salami. “Thin” was uttered and continued.

My heart froze in place.

I requested a salami stick and a pig pastrami stick from the other salesperson.

I arrived at the checkout ahead of them.

My eyes were crying.

In front of the market, I waited for them outdoors.

I gave the young girl the bag of candy.

Santa left me this bag since you were at the shop, so he came over here.

To her mother’s probing questions, the girl turned her large blue eyes. The woman acknowledged this by nodding.

“- Look, Mom, Santa Claus is real!” She cried out.

I couldn’t express how I felt, which both hurt and made me pleased.
