A mother, father, and their son were having dinner.
The boy pushed his Brussels sprouts around his plate.
Mom said, “Son, eat your sprouts.”
The boy shouted, “NO!”
Dad leaned over and whispered something into his son’s ear.
Suddenly, the boy grabbed his fork and finished every single sprout on his plate.
Then he jumped up and disappeared into his room.
Mom looked at her husband suspiciously.
“What exactly did you tell him?”
Dad smiled proudly.
“I told him his little man wouldn’t grow any bigger if he didn’t eat his vegetables.”
Mom stared at him for a second… then SMACK!
She smacked him on the back of the head.
“Ow! What was THAT for?”
She replied, “For not eating your sprouts when YOU were a kid!”
Dad suddenly became very interested in his dinner.
