An elderly farmer wrote to his son in prison:
“Son, I can’t plant my potatoes this year because I’m too old to dig the field.”
A few days later, his son replied,
“Dad, whatever you do, don’t dig the field! That’s where I buried the money I stole.”
The police intercepted the letter and rushed to the farm.
They dug up the entire field… but found nothing.
The next day, the son sent another letter:
“Now go ahead and plant the potatoes, Dad.”
“It’s the best I can do from prison!”
