A four-year-old boy suddenly announced at breakfast,
“Dad, I’ve decided to get married!”
His dad smiled.
“Really? That’s wonderful! Do you already have someone in mind?”
The little boy nodded proudly.
“Yep! Grandma!”
Dad nearly dropped his coffee.
“Grandma?!”
“Yes! She loves me, I love her, and she’s the best cook in the whole world. Plus, she tells the best stories!”
Dad took a deep breath.
“That’s very sweet, buddy, but there’s just one little problem…”
“What problem?”
“Grandma is my mother. You can’t marry my mother!”
The boy looked completely confused.
“Why not?”
Dad opened his mouth to explain…
But the boy beat him to it:
“Well, Dad…”
“You married mine!”
Dad stared at him.
The boy went back to his cereal.
Argument officially won.
