A man stepped into the confessional and quietly said,
“Bless me, Father, for I have sinned.”
“It’s been one month since my last confession…”
“…and I was with Fanny Green… twice.”
The priest nodded thoughtfully.
“Your sins are forgiven.”
“Say three Hail Marys… and try to avoid temptation.”
The man thanked him and left.
A short while later, another man entered the confessional.
“Bless me, Father…”
“It’s been two months since my last confession.”
“And I’ve been with Fanny Green…”
“…twice a week for the last two months.”
The priest raised an eyebrow.
“Who exactly is this Fanny Green?”
The man shrugged.
“She’s the new lady who just moved into the neighborhood.”
The priest sighed deeply.
“Very well…”
“Ten Hail Marys this time.”
The following Sunday, the church was packed.
Just before the sermon began…
A stunning red-haired woman walked slowly down the center aisle.
Every head in the church turned.
She was wearing a short emerald-green dress…
With matching bright green shoes.
As she took a seat in the very front pew…
The priest glanced over…
Then quickly looked away.
He leaned toward the altar boy and whispered,
“Tell me…”
“Is that Fanny Green?”
The altar boy took one look…
Then calmly whispered back,
“No, Father…”
“I think that’s just the reflection from her shoes.” 😂🤣
