My oldest daughter moved out into her own apartment three months ago. The other day, she called me out of the blue and asked, “Dad, can I please move back home?”
I replied, “You moved out because you didn’t like my rules, but my rules haven’t changed.”
“I will gladly follow them now, Dad!” she promised.
Surprised, I asked, “Why the sudden change of heart?”
She exclaimed, “Ever since I moved into this place, a whole bunch of people have teamed up against me and they clearly do not like me!”
“What people?” I asked, concerned.
She groaned, “The rent people, the utility people, the gas people, the car note people, the grocery people, and the cellphone people! OMG!”
