After attending a weekend leadership seminar, a husband walked through the front door looking like he’d just been promoted to King of the World.
He puffed out his chest, straightened his shoulders, and proudly announced to his wife,
“Things are going to be different around here!”
She looked up from her book.
“Oh?”
He nodded confidently.
“From this day forward…”
“I’m the head of this household!”
“When I want dinner, you’ll cook it.”
“When I want peace and quiet, you’ll give it to me.”
“And whenever I need something…”
“…you’ll be standing by, ready to help!”
He folded his arms, wearing the biggest grin on his face.
Then, with all the confidence in the world, he asked,
“And tomorrow morning…”
“Who do you think is going to help me get dressed for work?”
His wife didn’t even look up.
She calmly took another sip of her coffee and replied,
“The paramedics.” 😂🤣
