The Nun’s Secret Weapon 🐻
An elderly nun and a novice were walking through a forest when a huge bear suddenly stepped onto the path.
The novice gasped and dropped to her knees.
“Sister, quick! Pray for a miracle!”
The bear growled and started moving toward them.
But the elderly nun remained calm.
Instead of praying, she reached into her bag, pulled out a small silver bell, and rang it.
DING! DING!
Instantly, the bear stopped.
It sniffed the air, turned around, and hurried back into the woods.
The novice stared in amazement.
“Sister! That was incredible! Is that a blessed bell? Did it calm the bear’s spirit?”
The elderly nun smiled.
“Not exactly.”
“Then what was it?”
“It’s the dinner bell from our convent.”
“The dinner bell?”
“Yep.”
The nun tucked it back into her bag.
“So it wasn’t a miracle?”
“No, dear.”
“That bear has been hanging around our dumpster for three years.”
“The moment he hears that bell, he thinks dinner is ready.”
