The arrival of a new baby is an exhilarating occasion for any family. But, in 2019, an Australian baby girl created a lot of buzz after making a very “big” entrance. The newborn weighed in at 14.5 pounds! The Mirror reports, Emma Millar gave birth to little Remi Frances Millar in October at Wollongong Hospital located on the outskirts of Sydney, Australia. Both Emma and her husband, Daniel, were expecting their daughter to be a bit bigger than usual after her 35-week ultrasound showed that their little girl already weighed about 9 pounds. That’s heavier than your average full-term newborn who weighs-in at 7.27 pounds.
The little girl is also being showered with love by her older sister and brother.
Emma notes that Remi gained quite a bit of attention while she was still in the hospital’s nursery and when she walked around with her due to the fact she was so much bigger than the other newborns in the ward.
